Six persons injured after truck accident in Guilford County
GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. –November 9, 2011. MyFox 8 reports that six people were taken to the hospital after an accident involving a group home minivan Wednesday morning in Guilford County. Glenda Higgins, the owner of the group home, said the van's tire was going flat and the driver was getting ready to pull into a gas station when a pickup truck hit them from behind.
The driver of the truck has been charged with failure to reduce speed. It was not clear how many people were in the truck or if anyone from the truck was taken to the hospital.
