Crumley Roberts was a proud sponsor of the North Carolina Department of Labors’ (NCDOL) 23rd annual Safety Awards banquet hosted by the NCDOL and the Asheboro / Randolph Chamber of Commerce. The event, held in April, recognized private and public companies with stellar workplace safety records, including no work-related fatalities and incidence rates at least 50% below the industry average.
The 55 awards given for outstanding on-the-job safety at this year’s event are critical to reinforcing a focus on the day-to-day safety of workers across the state, many of whom work in order to support their families. Ensuring a worker returns home each day to their loved ones and friends begins only with a focus on workplace safety and policies that reduce risks of accidents, injuries, and preventable deaths.
As a firm that advocates for injured victims and families in matters involving workers’ compensation, Crumley Roberts understands the profound and life-altering consequences of workplace accidents. In addition to helping injured workers and their loves ones as they navigate personal turbulence and challenging legal journeys, we strive to support workplace safety initiatives and stand up for our own employees just as we stand up for our clients. This includes our Employee Wellness (C.R.E.W.) Program, an unprecedented initiative for a company of our size that focuses on the overall health and well-being of our firm’s employees.
Our legal team congratulates the companies recognized at this years’ Safety Awards luncheon, and commends them on their efforts to make our communities safer places to live, work, and play.
